Bearcat scanner. The scanner is an excellent product, only bad thing is that the batteries run down really fast. Very satisfied. I am very happy with this product. Great little scanner! I bought this scanner right after my husband became a deputy sheriff so I could keep up with what's going while he's on duty. GREAT SCANNER. Great buy! I wanted a simple hand-held scanner. "Rock Solid" In Oregon. I researched scanners for a week. Bearcat Handheld Scanner. The Scanner has worked out o k, but wish it had a little better range. Great product for an excellent price!!!! I bought this scanner for listenig the police and Emergency Service in my hometown, the reception its AWESOME, I own a profesional portable scanner, the Yaesu VR-500, and the sound and reception indoors are far better in this UNIDEN Scanner, the unit its light and easy to learn how it functions, the scan speed its also very good, and the Close Call function its very convenient, (if you have it activated, the scanner will tune any strong signal close to the unit, but if you are listening another frequency, you will hear a blank noiseless gap every second while the function its on) and its very easy to activated it or disable. BEARCAT SCANNER RATED EXCELLENT. THE BEARCAT DOES A GREAT JOB OF SCANNING COMMUNICATIONS AT LAX. Very pleased. We were very pleased with the product and the management of the product coming here. Great Christmas present! I gave this scanner to my grown son as a Xmas present. A SCANNER THAT EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE! This scanner is everything that I expected it to be. Very good scanner. I listen to it almost every day and it does the job. A neat little scanner. I'm very happy with this scanner. Good product. This scanner my first is my friend for my night travel. This is a good scanner if you don't want to scan the Police. I don't know much about scanners so I read all the reviews and download the manual, read it and found out that the police frequencies where pre-programmed for scan. Easy to program! I am a ham radio operator and suffered through the confusing owner's manual for my Yaesu FT60 (in fact, I needed LOTS of help to pragram it! Not a Bad Deal. I live in a Northeastern Pennsylvania county of 208,000 people with a lot of radio traffic and strong signals. Not user friendly. So far have been unable to scan channels that are selected. A real disappointment. My #1 use for this scanner is for public safety scanning - I have family in law enforcement & we like to listen in. Police call radio. Band Frequency not high enough. Uniden makes a great product. Police scanner. i received my order it came in nice and new the packaging was veay good and it was pretty slow shipping but i got it and i love it and it works awesome i recommend you to buy this scanner. Very good little radio. This little radio was easy to program, and lock out any channels you don't want at the time. What I expected. As a long time owner of Bearcat products, I was not surprised at the quality of the scanner. Great product. I am very happy with this product. Does't pick up squat.
