Perfect receiver for my office. I ordered this to provide a quick solution for my office. Good performance good price. At first when i got this amp it did not perform well and it overheated . Very Good Stereo Receiver. This receiver works well with other componets such as a CD player and TV. Not for the power hungry. Don't get me wrong, this is a very clean amp! Decent receiver. Good receiver, don't let the 100w fool you. For now, due mostly to budget constraints and my love of music, all of my receivers in the past 8 or so years are stereo receivers. Does the trick for me. I really just wanted a stereo amp to use with my wireless home network and Roku Soundbridge to listen to internet radio and my mp3 collection. Good stereo sound system on the CHEAP! Had four perfectly good stereo speakers, bought this to power the speakers for improved TV audio. Not 100 watts per channel. I'm sure this tuner if fine. GREAT UNIT !!! I am a test engineer and I did extensive research before selecting this unit. Replacement Amp. I bought this amp as a replacement for the one that broke. A real value. Works fine. Works just fine, thank you! we use it in a local veterans club for the big screen tv and music, works great! Fine Sound, Right Price. This receiver is really very good, especially for the price. So my mom's old NEC stereo receiver caught fire after 23 years of service (they just don't make 'em like that anymore), so naturally I jump to the task of being the better child of 2, and purchase this replacement.

Don't be Dont be deceived by the good looks of this receiver and the Sherwood name. Bargin Gear. Good deal for a bare bones stereo receiver with remote. Good buy, nice amp. This Sherwood (noted brand years ago, now mysterious) might be a decent bargain for twice the money. Rip off. Didn't work out of the box - it's in standby mode, apparently forever. Best For The Money. It's not a 500w boom box, but the sound is great and the remote is handy. Great deal for the money. Great little reciever. Simple Basic Receiver. A receiver that won't even receive local FM stations. This receiver's scan feature for finding stations wouldn't even pick up local stations no matter what we did with the antennae. Great for the price. I purchased this to replace a 16 year old Sony surround sound receiver. Sound Value. Sherwood was a manufacture of mid quality, tube type audio devices during my childhood- a long time ago. Good inexpensive receivers still exist. Bought this to power my house wide built in speakers. Got 2 both bad. I bought it to replace a unit that I have had since 1970 and it started to go bad. Basic Stereo Receiver. I was looking for a basic stereo receiver for use in my workshop. No tape monitor feature. It has been 15 years since I last shopped for a stereo receiver, and back then there were certain features that all receivers came with, regardless of how basic or inexpensive the model was. Was I disappointed! I read the reviews and figured this receiver would fit my needs. Bass control stuck all the way up. I've had the Sherwood RX-4105 for a long time. It broke. I like the receiver but it over heated on the second week of use. I am not an Audiophile and I think this receiver sounds aweful. The price is great, the specifications are great, and the product looks and feels great in person.
