Great sound. The sound quality of this amp is much cleaner than any of the "consumer grade" stuff I own. VERY good amp for the money. very flat sounding. You get what you pay for. The sound from the Audio Source Amp One/A was fuzzy and unclear, when compared to my old Audio Research SP4. Good Value, Prompt Delivery! This is a top rated audio component. Good value. Very happy with unit, it drives my AR302's effortlessly. A lost treasure. I have owned and used two AudioSource Amp One/A amps, each of which I bought here as NOS (new old stock. Disapointing. We purchased this amplifier to drive a 5-ohm load based on the manufacturers claim of a low impedance 4-ohm capability. A good reason to forgo higher end amps. These work great in bridged (mono) mode. AudioSource Amp One/A - great value and quality! I bought 2 AudioSource Amp One/A's and am running them as monoblocks to drive my front L/R speakers. A Bit Too Much for Home Theater System. First, there is nothing wrong with this amp.
Well worth it. This is actually a review for the AmpOne (not the /A version). Stereo amplifier. Not a bad item for its price. Look elsewhere. as far as the quality of the sound, its as others say. Excellent amp for the money! I have looked for a while for a affordable mono amp that was not short on power. Excellent value and sound; one of the best deals in amps! I have been an audiophile since I was a teen (over 20 years), having owned some truly high end amplifiers like Bryston, Audio Research, and currently in my main system, a McIntosh MC162. A great buy. I have owned two of these amps for almost a year now and I am very fond of them. Quality unit. Very pleased with amp.
