Sturdy phone, great for texting. First, this phone is almost damage-proof, I drop it all the time and it still works great. Nice phone. I really like this phone. Excellent Product. I have owned many LGs and this is by far the best I have ever owned. Horrible audio quality. I've had this ENV2 phone for 7 months now, and am very disappointed. I love my LG env2! I've had this phone for a year and a half and it has given me zero issues. The Good Outweighs the Bad. As a lot of people have said, it does unlock in your pocket and call people, but this can be fixed by simply changing the unlock mode. Moving away from the "Super Phones" I have been around the block with cell phones. POOR QUALITY PHONE...VERY DISAPPOINTED! i bought this phone in may 2009 to replace my aging vx8300. ENV owner "upgrades" to ENV2. Okay, so I purchased this phone to upgrade my beloved ENV original. WHAT IS WITH THE BATTERY LIFE??? I like this phone.
Lots of good some bad for me. Verizon EnV2 - LG 9100What I like:* USB Memory slot up compatible up to 8 gigs. This is the phone for 99% of the world! This phone rocks. A Solid Choice! Like most people, as the end of my Verizon contract neared, I started to receive a lot of marketing from the company to entice me into another contract. LG env2 phone. I recently purchased 2 phones with a family plan. Pleasantly Surprised by the EnV2. When I first started to look for a new phone as my plan was ending soon, I was torn between the LG Dare, LG Voyager, and the LG EnV2. Love it! Love my cute little phone. Lots of Features, lousy audio. Lots of Features, but they forgot to makethe audio understandable. Great little phone with lots of extras. My Verizon contract was up in November, but I debated for months as to whether I should re-up, change providers, or just stay with Verizon with no contract. Junk. ok. WOW. i read all the reviews here and i watched some videos on youtube so i knew what to expect and im happy with it great phone i also have an ipod touch and wanted the feel of real buttons.
Env2 software upgrade eliminates the phone making calls by itself! The Env2 now has a software/firmware upgrade that eliminates the "ghost dialing" issue where the phone dials someone while the phone sits in your pocket. Fantastic Little Phone. I was amazed - so many features, including the full size keyboard and yet so small. Awesome phone - perhaps the best phone I've owned. I've enjoyed this phone, which is a departure from most cell phones I've ever owned. Functional without a long life. I originally got the ENV and I liked the option for text and the front screen options. Exceptional Phone ~ Exceptional Value & Performance. After much research and the decision to give up on flip phones (i've broken 3 of 3), I decided to get this phone. Best Media/Texting phone out there... We switched over to Verizon from T-Mobile a few days ago, and after a little bit of research decided that I wanted this phone. Love this phone. This is a fantastic phone for those not quite ready for the smart phone leap. Great phone...a couple things I don't like. Pros:Good call qualityNice phone to text with if you can't afford a touch screenYou can use it as a regular phone and when you want to text open it up. Get a BlackBerry the first time! I was so excited to get the enV2.
Good solid phone. I got this phone as a replacement for the Samsung Glyde that I returned after 3 days due to poor performance. Gladly change rating to a 5 if they fix the pocket dialing problem!!! This phone is absolutely incredible in EVERY WAY . Awesome phone...some Verizon problems. This is an absolutely awesome product. A good phone, not great. I bought my phone for three main reasons: a better camera, a qwerty keyboard, and good signal strength. Just got this phone. and it hasn't disappointed yet! Lots of features, but you pay for them monthly. As a phone, it's a good one. Quality Phone. At last, Verizon was able to have a phone that I really wanted! Close yet so far. I have had this phone for six months and in many ways I really like it. KeyPad Unlocking. Just got the phone and love it! Low Quality. I like the phone a lot, but am on my 4th phone in 6 months.
I looooooooooooove this phone!!! After years of Motorola's poor quality phones, I am thrilled to go to LG's better quality products! Good for a texting phone, nothing else too special. Pros - Good call quality, pretty decent photo quality, great for texting. Great phone. I really love this phone. Warning: Makes Calls Without You Knowing! Please read the other reviews on Amazon, because it's true: the enV2 makes calls without you knowing. Pleasant surprise for a Nokia user. I've been pretty loyal to Nokia for a long time, but when it came time to update my phone, there were no Nokias availible. Bluetooth Issues. I purchased an enV2 to replace an LG8300 I had owned for while. Why EnV2 over Voyager... I have a Voyager. This phone sux. Most of the features on this phone are ok except for the keyboard lock. Keyguard Problem has been fixed!!! i've had this phone since last year, i got it just a few weeks after it came out, and i did have a few problems with it at first. Decent Phone. PROSCall quality is great.
If you love Apple, but hate AT&T - The Perfect iPod Touch Companion. Okay, I know there's a way to hack the iPhone to make it Verizon compatible, but I'll be honest I'm not brave enough to go it alone, as such a hacked arrangement would require. Are you jealous yet?. . . . I adore my phone! A few annoying flaws make this phone less than perfect. I upgraded from my Razr V3m to the enV2. Great phone. I love this phone. Initially a great phone, marred by poor quality. Not sure if this phone is still offered widely out there anymore, but thought I'd add my experiences with it for anyone now considering purchasing it. My experience with all those features. This phone looks great and operates very well. Almost perfect! Recently my old enV died the death. It's OK, but. The size is great, and I like the keyboard for texting and general phone use. Great Phone... I got this phone (in maroon) after looking at the Blackberry; I didn't like the Blackberry's layout, screen size, and the fact that the only way to conveniently carry it is on a belt holster. So far, so good. I've been looking for a bluetooth compatible phone for a while now.
