Great Phone. My other half is hell on cell phones. Speaker Volume fades in and out, cuts out. My husband and I both got Rugby's this week. Not for Mac Users. I like this phone but I wish I would have known in advance that I would not be able to install ring tones and other Mac sounds/music on it. Poor volume. I bought this phone based on the advertising as a rugged work phone. Great phone for people like me. As with any cell phone, they're designed for certain users. Finally, a "man sized" phone! Disclosure:: I'm a guy with fairly large hands. Overall good phone. I've had my phone for a few months and it is working great. Nice Phone. If what you want is a flip phone that, when open, is equivalent in size and features to that of an ordinary "land line" handset - AND you want a phone that can take a reasonably hard beating - this phone fits the bill. Not As Tough As It Looks. THE YELLOW MODEL MAY NOT BE A GOOD CHOICE. GREAT PRODUCT - It delivers all it promises... (not from a kid) I needed 3 phones for a family plan.
Don't be disappointed. I bought this phone for its rugged specifications. Great potential, but it falls way short. Received the Rugby in 2 days. The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. OK, so this phone is built like the proverbial Brick #*@! A bit of a letdown. This refers to the MAROON model but color shouldn't be a factor. Quite an upgrade... I bought this at another online site to replace a Samsung A437. LOVE it! If Samsung ever comes out with a QWERTY version of the Rugby I will be the first in line to get it! Samsung does't stand behind defective products. My husband had a Samsung Rudgby phone for five weeks, when a crack formed on the front LCD cover.
