Much better than the old one! I have had my VX8550 for about a month now. A great phone. I've been using this phone for one week and so far it runs great with me! Don't judge a phone by its glamour!! Sorry, Verizon, but I have to say the network is good, this phone is not. If only it worked as good as it looks... LIKES:- Nice screen; stylish design. It's ok.... I was very glad to see that verizon had released a new and improved chocolate phone. Needed Some Time to Get Used to It. I was attracted to the LG Chocolate for many of the same reasons that everyone else here was: it's sleek and sexy, thin enough to comfortably sit in my pocket, and pretty cheap for a fashionable phone. The lg chocolate is a very fun phone but it could do much more. I, got my LG Chocolate 8550 about a few weeks ago and i have to say it is alot of fun. No flaws... As a vx8000 owner, it was hard to switch phones. Pretty good so far. Been using for about a week now. Awesome phone, so far... I have had this phone for a grand total of 2 days.
Lemon chocolate--yuck. I have been tempted so many times to throw this phone across the room. Great so far. I traded up (way up) from a Motorola V180 to this phone. Such an annoying phone. With such high reviews, I was expecting a spectacular phone. Love it! I got this phone when I exchanged the Motorola Krazor, which I hated. Multifunctional phone. Very good but room for improvement. The Good:-- Very multifunctional phone. Surprisingly Good Phone. I've always heard bad things about the Chocolate-it dials contacts while in your pocket, phone conversations end abruptly at the hands of the touch sensitive keys. One for the long run..? I got the VX8550 to replace an aging VX4400(had to fall back on it as a backup when my V276 died). Don't waste your money! I received this phone as a free replacement upgrade from Verizon to try and I have now sent it back. Great Phone. This, overall, truly is a great phone. Amazing phone. At first I purchased the original chocolate phone not realizing that I would hate it.
Great phone! I have had this LG for 2 months after my Razr was stolen. Not an iPhone or iPod replacement for Mac users, but a good phone. After 3-1/2 months, I'm still a fan of this phone, but it's not the iPod-phone I was hoping for. Its pretty nice. Its hot.
