Hold the Phone, D. Mease!!! I don't know from whom you bought this, but I bought TWO and BOTH were Palm products, bubble-packaged and factory-fresh! Item falling apart after 2nd use. Device is literally falling apart as I use it. Great deal. Works fine, plug stays in fine, charges fine, no problems at all. It's Treo's fault, not the charger's fault. As other reviewers have noted, this charger won't stay connected. Works well not very rugged. This item serves my needs for charging my Treo 650 in my car. I hope the company makes a better product. A week after I purchased, the item broke. Not A Good Option. I have had very limited success using this with my Treo 650. Won't stay connected to the phone. I have had the same problem as some of the other reviewers of this product. Shoddy Workmanship. This unit broke apart the first time I inserted it into the car's lighter plug. Works good. I had this charger for a while now.
Barely Adequate. if you simply need a charger, this works fine. The charger never works! I don't normally post reviews, but this thing really is useless. Very happy. The vehicle charger is terrificIt is very tough, and plugs into the Treo easily ------ also, unlike older Treo chargers, it never disconnets easily from the Treo, once placedit also charges quicklyand the price is cheap - you can't go wrong on this oneHappy buying! READ THESE REVIEWS BEFORE YOU BUY! I didn't and I got burned like everyone else posting here. Acceptable, but rather mediocre construction. After a few weeks of use, I can't say that I've experienced any of the problems experienced by other reviewers. Brand spankin' new. Came in the original Palm inc. Works well and IS made by PALM. This IS made by palm. Does not stay plugged into Treo 650. I've had the same experience as posted previously by others: the plug does not stay connected to the Treo so after a few seconds it stops charging until I reposition it. Not manufactured by Palm. The product description says that it is made by Palm. Works great with Centro. Read reviews on other Palm adapters with problems, but this model works great with my Palm Centro.
Bad product Very small length and the wire coil in not at all flexible. Delivers what it promises. That's exactly what it does; an inexpensive accessory, works well, and doesn't unplugs easily from the Treo's charger port. Works perfect! Plug in adapter into car, plug in phone, nice fit and charging works as advertised. Take your Palm with you. This makes your Palm something you can take with you on a trip; it'll charge many devices in the Palm stable, like the TX, which can use it for 12 volt power on your boat or car. Flexible Vehicle Power Charger. This is a Verizon labeled charger but it works even better than the the original one I purchased from Sprint for my Sprint based Centro. It is what it is. This charger gets the job done for a great price. Failed after3 months. Started having issued with the quality of the product after 3 months. Simple! It works! I mean. Poor quality. ok for the price that i paid for it but did not hold up very well to every day wear. Not the real deal. Note that this is NOT an official Palm product.
Not Original. This item is advertised as an original Palm accessory, in fact below the description is the usual "Other products by Palm" hyperlink, and the image shown is also that of the original charger. Vehicle Power Charger for palmOne Treo 650. I received the charge in a timely manner but just after the warranty period it stopped working and I am very diappointed. Not Long Enough. The Palm vehicle power adapter is a great buy for about $20. Here's My Solution To The Connector Issue. I won't reiterate the other reviews, but I found the plusses to be:1. Car Charger for Palm devices, including Centro. Perfect! Neat-o. Works great, actually came as a Verizon charger, which only carries Blackberry but this is a Palm Cento, anyway, it works just wonderfully. Same as on the Palm website, 80% less on Amazon. After reading the other reviews, I was a bit worried about what I was getting for this price. Not original Palm equipment - Poor quality. Very disappointed in this item. Good value. PalmOne charge cost less than the shipping but at less than $9 total this is a good value and has worked as expected. Didn't hold up. The power connector on the phone end wore out and wouldn't stay connected without nursing.
