Great product, great value. I've had the Polk soundbar for a week now and love it. Sound not much better than tv speakers. I researched this one and thought the SoundBar SDA IHT would do what I wanted, but, aside from the increased bass via the subwoofer, there's really very little improvement in overall sound quality compared to the built-in speakers of my Samsung UN55B8000. Left without highs... Bought this product after listening to built-in "3D" sound bar in new Mitsubishi LCD TVs. A good compromise. If you're looking for a good-performing, easy to set-up soundbar, this is the one. Little Sound Bar + Sub-Woofer Packs a BIG PUNCH! I researched a number of sound/surroundbars for over a month and after reading reviews, listening to soundbars in Best Buy and considering convenience and how I already have so many wires behind my TV already, I decided on the Polk SDA Instant Home Theater. Works Great. It came when they said it would and it works great. Great sound but compatibility issue with samsung lcd tv. i bought this soundbar based on reading several product reviews on the net and here on amazon. Great Sound, No Fuss. I'll start with my current set up and what my expectations were. Nice little system but.. It gives a good bang for the buck but there were a couple of issues that I had with it. Just what I needed! First I bought the Sony Bravia KDL-46S1500 TV.
Works good. needs more audio inputs. Awesome replacement for TV speakers. I felt that this product delivered exactly what I wanted, which was an unobtrusive replacement for the factory speakers within an LCD TV. Good Deal. I researched this soundbar for quite some time (couple of months), and decided on the Polk am1805-a Instant Home Theater. Best Soundbar on the Market. I bought a 40 inch Samsung LED TV. Good product but... I really like the sound quality of this product but the wireless signal interferes with my wireless internet signal no matter what channel I switch to. Very Nice. I purchased one of these because my husband is an old rocker and his hearing isn't as good as it used to be. Easy upgrade. Got this for my 52" Samsung LCD, and I aggree with the other reviewer, the TV-speaker disabling feature and the "not available" message every time you adjust volume is anoying.
