Good Value. We recently purchased this model for a medium size Family Room. Buy the SC-HT900 instead!!! For $100 more you get the SC-HT900 with more power and better quality tower speakers which does not require stands. Disc Playing Gremlins. Last Year I bought my first Home Theatre System - Panasonic SC-HT 70. Good...AT FIRST! Like some of the other reviews I also have had the problem of the loud POP sounds and loss of audio after 2 years of ownership. Not for Lord of the Rings fans! I got this as a gift for Christmas (I picked it out myself after reading the reviews on Amazon. A VERY pleasant surprise... For weeks now, I was convinced that the TV sized box under our tree was a HDTV. Great budget-priced system. I just bought this unit for my father-in-law (Father's Day gift). First time buyer pleased. This is my first purchase of a home teater system and this system was a great way to start. Great sound quality. I just got this system a week ago and i'm very happy with the sound quality. Probably the BEST home theater system for the money!!!!!!!! I bought this system about a month ago, and I like it a lot!
Excellent! How can people complain with a price like this? I've owned the HT-700 for 5 months now and I am totally satisfied. Great buy. i've had it for two weeks and so far no complaint. Definitely worth the price. I knew before I bought this system that it would be good, because a friend bought a similar system, the HT800 (which only really differs by the tall speakers), but I was surprised at just how good it sounded even though I didn't put the speakers in the precisely directed positions. I researched Bose, Sony, and this One.....THIS ONE WON. SIMPLY THE BEST SYSTEM! Stay away from Panasonic! Customer Service - the Panasonic website claims this is very important to them. DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF CRAP. I was really happy with this unit for the first year. Good for the money. I have had this system for a few weeks now. Great for my room... The only faults I could find in this system are not having Digital-In (which is included in the SC-HT900, the one with tower speakers) and not having video imput switching. State of the art product. Since the day I owned this beauty from Panasonic, I have not visited the movie theatre. Powerful, Sleek & Easy. We bought this Home Theatre as a gift for us, the entire family, for Christmas.
This is not a product rate. I want to buy this home theater system for my sister in Viet Nam for her wedding. You get what you pay for. After reading so many positive reviews, I thought for this price, this is too good to be true. My experience with this system... Let me start out that I two DVD systems. Very good for the price. I priced several home theater systems and this Panasonic system has been everything I was looking for. Low price and decent sound. I wanted a DVD/Home Theater system for our bedroom. THIS PRODUCT IS TERRIBLE IN PERFORMANCE. I CANNOT BELIEVE PANASONICS ENGINEERS ALLOWED THIS ITEM TO BEPRODUCED AND PLACED ON THE MARKET. Beautiful looks and sound. Terrible logic. Got this for my mom when I visited her this summer. A.k.a. How to Equip the Urban Condo. (Originally from 8/03) Frankly, I was always skeptical of all-in-one packages, having grown up in the age of component systems. Can't get more bang for the buck. I'm not an audiphile, but this system seems to sound very good to me - especially for the price. Great Sound, nice to look at. I have had this sytem for about two weeks.
A Great Deal for Your Money. This is the best Home Theater System of it's class. Value & Good Looks. I just purchased my Panasonic system SCHT 700. Great Theatre System. This home theatre system is great. To the point! Poor sound quality. Perfect, well almost ........ During my research for a reasonable home theater system i found that this HT 700 is the best selling and highest recommended system on amazon. The best I found in this price range... What a great package! Great Home Theater System. We purchased the Panasonic SC-HT700 last week so I can only give you my initial impressions of the machine. Ok for beginners. I was really impressed by the reviews for this product but I was a little let down once I had one in my home. Have owned THREE.......And considering a fourth. I have owned three of these (currently have two . I researched Bose, Sony, and this One.....THIS ONE WON. My last home theatre was a Sony 5.
Good system, but DO NOT buy from jets994life. This is a good Home Theater system. Died after six months. The unit has an unusual design with power and speaker connectors plugging into the subwoofer. An Overall Disappointment. I ordered the SCHT 700 last August and was initially pleased with my purchase. Good system with only 1 (perhaps 2) flaw(s): I bought this system and have been listening to it for about a month or so now. Great looking and sound but. I bought the Panasonic SC-HT700 about a month ago and I am enjoying very clean music and adequate but not gut wrenching bass.
